Every product deserves a verified digital identity
Billions of products have no digital identity: data lives in spreadsheets, provenance is stripped in transit, and building materials ship as PDF spec sheets. Proddata is the registry that fixes this. Brands register manufactured goods, producers register natural products with full provenance, and construction manufacturers publish verified parametric and BIM data. Every record gets a permanent URL, a media gallery, physical dimensions and a trust signal, served through one API.
Three product types, three identity models
Manufactured
GPLEFactory-produced goods where the brand is the identity. One global record, local pricing per market.

PCLAgricultural lots where provenance is the value: origin, variety, processing and altitude stay attached, so specialty products stop selling as generic commodities.

GPLE + BIMBuilding materials where parametrics are the data: density, thermal conductivity, load capacity, IFC types and tolerances, importable straight into Revit and ArchiCAD.

Every data point tells you where it came from. Records pass through Pending Review while an admin reviews the brand behind them.

How records are born
Path A: brand-firstBrand-Verified
- 1.Register as a manufacturer or producer
- 2.List products with official data and gallery assets
- 3.Add parametrics; construction products add the BIM extension
- 4.Upload certification documents
- 5.Set the MSRP
- 6.Publish: UPI and permanent handle assigned, green badge on
Path B: AI fallbackAI-Generated
- 1.Someone scans an unknown product
- 2.The pipeline searches the ledger first; matches always win
- 3.AI extracts name, type and classification from the photo
- 4.Parametrics and an approximate 3D model are estimated
- 5.The record publishes as AI-Generated, amber badge on
- 6.The brand claims it later and verified data takes over
Who reads the ledger
Logistics software pulls real dimensions to plan container loads. Architects and BIM tools import material properties and IFC types for local materials. E-commerce apps render galleries and 3D viewers without re-photographing anything. Regulators audit verified MSRPs instead of chasing spreadsheets. Today the ledger covers 36 records across 3 commodities and 29 brands, built from Kigali outward.
